Immunisation
Focus Healthcare nurses provide school, worksite and personal immunisation services to 3,500 people each year.
The Immunisation Service is based on best practice protocols. Care is taken to ensure clients are made aware of any risk of reaction. All clients are screened for possible allergic reactions prior to inclusion in the program.
How to access Focus Healthcare’s Immunisation Service
Any person or organisation needing immunisation services can receive them from Focus Healthcare. All that is required is a telephone call to 1300 363 262 (24 hours / day). Our contact centre personnel will process the referral promptly and can advise you of charges and options for payment and rebates.
Once a referral is received a specialist Registered Nurse will arrange the time and place for immunisation. At the time of immunisation you will have individual attention paid to your immunisation needs.
Charges
Child and adolescent immunisations are available at no cost. Adult immunisation e.g. travel vaccines and influenza will incur a charge to clients. Call 1300 363 262 for current pricing information.
