Workers Compensation
The South Australian workers compensation system is part of a safety net that protects workers from loss that could result from people being injured or disabled at work. An injured worker is entitled to make a workers compensation claim where the injury arises out of his/her employment.
Focus Healthcare can provide in-home wound care and assistance with activities of daily living (including home safety assessments, occupational therapy and assessment and referral for necessary equipment and aids).
All care and services provided under the WorkCover compensation scheme must be referred to Focus Healthcare by a medical officer or vocational rehabilitation provider, registered with WorkCover.
Rates and Charges
WorkCover Corporation will pay costs for reasonable services delivered to workers compensation claimants by Focus Healthcare’s recognised and accredited health professionals.
