Cost to an Individual
Many consumers are unaware that nursing and home support services can be purchased directly from some health services. Focus Healthcare services can be purchased in exactly the same way that you buy your groceries, clothes or a new car. We accept cash, cheques and all major credit cards.
Direct deduction from your account can be arranged and payment terms negotiated to suit your personal circumstances.
Nursing Care
Nursing care is charged at hourly rates (higher on weekends and public holidays).
Visit time is charged in half hourly lots e.g. only the time spent delivering care is charged for. (There is no charge for the traveling time the nurse takes to reach your house).
A qualified and experienced registered nurse attends and provides nursing care from a nursing care plan. The plan is developed with you and in consultation with any other health professionals you are seeing e.g. your GP or medical specialist.
Focus charges include continuing communication and consultation e.g. with your GP, Specialist, hospital you were discharged from, your local pharmacist or other allied health professionals whose input is relevant to the nursing care provided (physiotherapy, podiatry, chiropractic, dietician, etc).
